About Journey Across Berlin

Journey Across Berlin documents the West's position on the defense of Berlin. Beginning with the destruction and economic breakdown of the city at the end of World War II, and presenting significant historical events, such as the establishment of occupation zones, the airlift, the 1953 riots, the elections in free Berlin and the West's determined actions to maintain the freedom of West Berlin.
